
Tragedy Strikes: Pregnant Mother and Unborn Child Killed in Greenville County Accident
A devastating accident occurred on Interstate 385 in Greenville County, South Carolina, early Tuesday morning, claiming the lives of a pregnant mother and her unborn child. According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, 24-year-old Marie Jabbie lost control of her vehicle near mile marker 33, causing it to swerve off the road at approximately 4:52 a.m.
Emergency medical services rushed Jabbie to the hospital, where she underwent an emergency cesarean section due to her pregnancy. Unfortunately, both Jabbie and her unborn child succumbed to their injuries.
The Mauldin Police Department and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office are currently investigating the incident. The community is coming together to offer condolences and support to Jabbie’s family and friends during this difficult time.
