Fatal Single-Vehicle Collision Under Investigation in Smyth County
Smyth County, VA – The Virginia State Police (VSP) is investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred on Sunday on Loves Mill Road.
According to the VSP, the incident happened at 12:30 p.m. The driver, identified as 68-year-old Timmie Stokes of Chilhowie, was transported to the hospital with injuries sustained in the crash. Tragically, Stokes succumbed to his wounds on Monday.
